OMIŠ
Omiš is a town and harbor in central Dalmatia, located between Split and Makarska, at the mouth of the river Cetina.
The apartment is only five kilometers away. The ancient town of Omiš, churches and fortresses are silent stone
reminders of strength and power of the Omiš pirates. Today Omiš is a centre of a Riviera of exceptional beauty.
It is situated in the heart of the Adriatic and it is known as the center of Croatian active tourism.
Omiš is literally filled with restaurants, taverns and cafes. Mediterranean cuisine - olive oil, fish and seafood, local vegetables and wine are part of the centuries-old tradition of this area, and perhaps the most direct way to experience the true spirit of the Mediterranean. Omiš Cultural Summer, Festival of the Dalmatian a Cappella Choirs (Klapa), Pirate Nights and many other musical, theatrical and gastronomic feasts are the perfect opportunity to experience not only the beauty of Dalmatia, but also its soul.
